Is there a design flaw?? Or is it me?? I
had these shoes long enough to fall in love with them but
not long enough to adapt to the rough corner in the inside
created from the STAPLE that connects the back piece of
leather to the front piece of leather. Since when are rough
corners and staples comfortable INSIDE of a shoe? The inside
of both feet (where my arch hit the shoe) was very tender
from the rough edge and the staple rubbing after just a
short period of time. Unfortunately, I had to return the
shoe, over which I am still grieving. I am optimistic that
with ZAPPO'S wonderful selection and service I can find a
replacement.
Black Patent - Shines - I bought these for my wife about a
month ago, and since they arrived she's worn them more than
all her other shoes (including a few pairs from Ryder). She
walks a fair amount each day in an office and across campus
as a student, and says they're the most comfortable shoes
ever. The pictures you see online of these don't do them
justice; they're so shiny they almost glow.
Very pleased - My shoes arrived in only a few days. They fit
well-I knew that in this type of Dansko a size 39 is really
an 8 1/2 and that I needed a 40 to fit as a size 9. The
patent is great-just a little dressed up. How ironic that
just after ordering these my husband was admitted to the
hospital and every doctor and nurse was wearing the
professional. They needed no breaking in. I was able to wear
them the first day for about 12 straight hours and they were
so comfortable. I would like to order another pair in a
different color. Service is speedy and excellent! |
